Rosie alternatives

Rosie alternatives

The right Rosie alternative depends on which plan limit you ran into: Upfirst if you want booking and a hand-off to your team from $24.95, Goodcall if regulars call several times a month, Dialzara for other minute-based plans, My AI Front Desk for calls, texts and chat in one bundle, and Voxipo if you want callers booked straight into your calendar and missed callers phoned back from your own number, at $49 a month, the same entry price as Rosie.

Why people switch

Why Rosie users look at other options

Rosie publishes three plans: Professional at $49 for 250 minutes, Scale at $149 for 1,000 and Growth at $299 for 2,000, each with a 7-day free trial, English and Spanish, and two months free on annual billing. Owners who compare it with other tools are usually weighing what the $49 plan leaves out. All prices below come from the vendors' own sites, checked October 30, 2026.

The $49 plan texts a link instead of booking

On Professional, Rosie sends callers an appointment link by text and they book themselves. Booking straight into your calendar starts on Scale, which costs $100 more a month.

No hand-off below Scale

Rosie's warm and live transfers also begin on the $149 Scale plan, and waterfall transfers need Growth at $299. A caller with an urgent problem on Professional leaves a message.

The price past your minutes is not published

Rosie's pricing page does not say what a minute beyond the allowance costs. That makes a busy month, or a month with a few long calls, hard to budget in advance.

Best for: Owners who want direct booking without paying for a bigger plan. Price: From $49 a month for 250 minutes, 14-day free trial.

Voxipo's Solo plan is $49 for 250 minutes. On that plan the agent books callers into Google Calendar, Outlook, Cal.com or GoHighLevel during the conversation, and when you miss a call on your own number, your carrier forwards it and Voxipo phones the caller back from your SMS-verified number after the delay you set.

Check first: Live call transfer is not available yet on any Voxipo plan, and the standard agent cannot text callers. Solo handles up to 2 calls at a time.

  2. Upfirst

Best for: Offices that want a person reachable from the cheapest plan. Price: From $24.95 a month for 30 calls, 14-day free trial.

  4. Goodcall

Check first: Overage on Starter is 79 cents a caller, and Starter keeps 30 days of call history. Its FAQ names Google Calendar as its native booking connection.

Where Voxipo fits

Where Voxipo fits for a Rosie customer

Direct booking on the entry plan

You do not need to move up a tier to have appointments booked for you. The agent reads your availability and books into Google Calendar, Outlook, Cal.com or GoHighLevel, inside your business hours and minimum notice.

Callbacks from the number customers already have

Keep your current number. If your carrier supports it, conditional call forwarding (busy and no answer) sends the calls you miss to Voxipo, which places one callback from your SMS-verified caller ID, between 8am and 9pm their time.

A published rate for extra minutes

Minutes past the allowance cost $0.30 on Solo, $0.25 on Starter, $0.18 on Growth and $0.15 on Scale, so a busy month can be priced ahead of time.

English and Spanish templates you can test first

Voxipo has home-services agent templates in English and Spanish, and the browser demo lets you talk to a real agent before you connect a number.

What Voxipo does not do yet

  • Live call transfer is not available yet on any plan. Instead, the agent records the details and your team returns the call.
  • No texting tool in the standard agent setup, so the agent cannot send a link during a call.
  • Solo handles up to 2 calls at a time and Starter up to 5, which matters if several people tend to call at once.
  • The business takes one appointment per time slot, so two staff cannot be booked into the same hour.

The honest answer

When to keep Rosie

Rosie covers some needs that Voxipo does not. These are good reasons to stay.

  • Taking messages and texting a booking link is all you need, and the $49 plan covers it.
  • You want callers handed to a person and texts sent during calls, and $149 a month for Scale fits your budget.
  • You use website chat and the iOS and Android apps alongside phone answering.
  • You send Rosie call details into other tools through Zapier, which all Rosie plans include.

Switching

How to switch from Rosie to Voxipo

  1. Set up Voxipo while Rosie is still running

Your 14-day free trial starts when you create your first workspace, and no card is needed. Add your greeting, the questions to ask and the documents the agent should answer from, then try it in the browser.

  2. Link your calendar

Connect Google Calendar or Outlook by signing in, add a Cal.com API token and event type ID or connect GoHighLevel, then set your hours and minimum notice.

  3. Move your forwarding

Once you choose a plan, if your carrier forwards missed calls to Rosie today, change the busy and no-answer forwarding to the Voxipo forwarding number and verify your business number by SMS. Calls to the plan's local number reach the agent directly.

  4. Cancel once the records line up

Compare a few days of Voxipo call records, transcripts and bookings with the summaries Rosie sends before you end your Rosie plan.
