No. You keep the number customers already know and set carrier conditional call forwarding (busy or no answer) to your Voxipo missed-call number, and Voxipo calls those customers back from your verified business number. You can also buy a new local number in the platform for the agent to answer directly.
When your carrier forwards an unanswered call, Voxipo calls the customer back presenting your SMS-verified business number after a delay you set (30 seconds by default). Callbacks follow the federal calling window of 8am to 9pm in the caller's local time, so a call missed outside those hours gets no callback.
