Find open slots
The agent requests available slots for your event type from Cal.com, then removes times blocked by Voxipo appointments or your availability rules.
Voxipo + Cal.com
Phone callers book the same Cal.com event type as your website visitors
Connect Cal.com with an API token and an event type so Voxipo can book that event type for callers, using Cal.com's own availability.
What it does
Voxipo connects to Cal.com with an API token from your Cal.com account and one event type. During a call the agent asks Cal.com for open slots on that event type, applies your Voxipo availability rules on top, and creates the booking with the caller's name and phone number. It can reschedule, cancel or confirm bookings it manages through Cal.com's booking actions, and saves each booking as a Voxipo appointment with the call record.
If your booking page already runs on Cal.com, your availability, event length and rules live there. Voxipo can book the same event type for people who call instead of clicking, so phone and web bookings follow one set of rules. Setup takes an API token from your Cal.com account and the ID of the event type you want callers to book.
During a call
The agent requests available slots for your event type from Cal.com, then removes times blocked by Voxipo appointments or your availability rules.
The booking is created in Cal.com with the caller's name, contact details and phone number.
For bookings it manages, the agent uses Cal.com's own reschedule, cancel and confirm actions.
Setup
In your Cal.com settings, create an API token. Paste it into the Voxipo Cal.com integration. Voxipo stores it encrypted and does not show it again.
Enter the ID of the Cal.com event type callers should book, and the timezone for bookings.
Run the connection test, link the integration to your agent, and place a test booking.
| Voxipo to Cal.com | Bookings and changes made on calls are created in Cal.com right away. |
|---|---|
| Cal.com availability | Open slots come from Cal.com's availability for the event type. Bookings made on your Cal.com page are not imported as Voxipo appointments. |
| One event type per integration | Callers book the single event type you configure. The event type ID is required. |
|---|---|
| API token, not sign-in | Cal.com connects with an API token you create and paste. Revoking the token in Cal.com stops booking. |
| One appointment per time slot | Voxipo books one appointment per time slot for the whole business, not per staff member. |
